The Test-Knitting Crew Pledge

I, valued test-knitter for Star & Crossbones, agree:
- to knit completely through any patterns provided to me for testing;
- to provide timely, honest, thoughtful feedback to the designer on or before the deadline I am given for a project;
- to also provide at least one digital photograph showing my finished project;
- to keep the details of written patterns confidential until the finalized versions are released for public consumption;
- not to provide copies of any Star & Crossbones pattern to anyone else without the designer's express written permission; and
- to inform the designer as soon as possible if I am unable to complete a project and deliver feedback on time.
I understand that as part of this agreement, the designer grants me permission (and, indeed, encourages me) to:
- blog about the pattern(s) I test, including photos of my project(s);
- post project information about the pattern(s) I test on my Ravelry project page; and
- talk about or discuss the pattern(s) I test in any medium or forum,
so long as I do not share any part of the written pattern directions with anyone outside the test-knitting group.
I also understand that if I fail to meet the test-knitting requirements provided by Star & Crossbones, I may be removed from the test-knitting group temporarily or permanently, and I may forfeit part or all of my compensation, at the discretion and judgement of the designer.
Finally, I understand that the designer appreciates me and my diligent test-knitting efforts, and will do her best to provide goodies and rewards to me in return for my participation in the Star & Crossbones Test-Knitting Crew.
If I choose to submit an application to join the Star & Crossbones test-knitting group, I will abide by the above guidelines.
